How to Measure Corner Windows

Step 1: Measure the widths of window 1 and window 2 at the top, respectively.

Step 2: Measure the height of each window at three different locations and use the longest measurement obtained.

Order Width

Shades 1 Order Width = Width A
Shades 2 Order Width = Width B - W (Deduction Required)

* Different shades models have varying widths. Refer to the table below to determine the width deduction (W value) required based on the shades model you have chosen.

Order Height

Roller Shades, Cellular Shades, Dual Shades:
Shades 1 Order Height = The longest of the three measurements
Shades 2 Order Height = The longest of the three measurements

Zebra Shades, Roman Shades, Woven Wood Shades, Shangri-La Sheer Shades:
Shades 1 Order Height = The shortest of the three measurements
Shades 2 Order Height = The shortest of the three measurements

Depth

Different types of valances require different mounting depths. Click here to view the recommended mounting depths for each shade type.

Friendly reminder: If the actual mounting depth is less than the recommended value, the valance may extend beyond the window frame.

Step 1: Measure the widths of window 1 and window 2 at the top, respectively.

Step 2: Measure height to be covered. (Including the top of valance to the shades fabric to the bottom rod)

To prevent the valance from obstructing your window, we recommend adding at least 6" (15.2 cm) to the frame's height for optimal light control and privacy.
