Try the Two-Side hookup Measurement Method
When measuring for an inside mount, deep window frames can cause the tape measure to bend, leading to inaccurate or inconsistent readings.
If the tape measure cannot stay straight from one side of the window to the other, we recommend using the following more reliable alternative method.
Two-Side Straight Measurement Method
Align the 0" mark of the tape measure with one side of the window opening.
Measure straight toward the center for 10" (or another short, easy-to-read distance).Use a pencil to mark the 10" point clearly.
Move the tape measure to the opposite side of the window opening.
Align the 0" mark with that edge and measure straight to the pencil mark.Add the two measurements together to get the true inside width of the window.

Helpful Tips
Keep the tape measure completely straight when reading measurements.
Do not bend the tape measure during measurement.
Make sure the pencil mark is clearly visible and easy to align with the tape.
If you are unsure about your measurements, we recommend having a professional re-measure.
