If your Woven Wood Shade appears uneven—where one side of the hem is higher than the other when fully raised—it may be caused by a slight misalignment of the internal lift cords.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Lift the Valance to Check the Lift Cords:
Gently raise the valance to inspect the internal cord system. Look for any cords that are tangled or out of place. Misaligned or displaced cords can cause the shade to rise unevenly on each side.
2. Adjust the Cord Position:
If the cords appear tangled or not aligned properly:
Use the remote control to lower the shade fully to its bottom limit.
Manually straighten and align the cords so they sit properly in place.
Then use the remote to raise the shade again, observing whether the cords move evenly.
Repeat this lowering and raising process three times. In most cases, this will resolve the cord alignment issue.
If a cord has slipped off a guide:
In the highlighted area, the cord should loop around the notch once and be secured with a knot.
This ensures the cord remains in place during operation and prevents it from slipping out of the guide track.
If the issue persists after performing these adjustments, please contact our customer support for further assistance.
