Wide Window Customization Guide for Roller, Zebra, Shangri-La, Cellular, and Dual Shades

Due to fabric width limitations and product configuration differences, the maximum width for a single shade may vary depending on the shade type and fabric series.

If your window width exceeds the maximum customizable width available for a single shade, you can choose two or more shades and install them side by side to properly cover the full window width while maintaining the functionality and overall appearance of the shades.

Please check the available width and height range on the product page before placing your order. If your desired size is not available as a single shade, a multiple-shade combination may be a better solution.

Multiple Shade Combination Options

For wide windows, we can customize two or more shades based on your window size and product selection. These shades can be installed side by side to fit your space and achieve the desired coverage.

Special Customization Service

To help reduce the gap between multiple shades installed on the same window, we offer a special customization service for eligible products. This service is designed to minimize visible gaps, improve light blocking, and create a cleaner overall appearance.

Please note that the final gap size may vary depending on the shade type, motor direction, control side, and installation method. You can refer to the image below for specific gap size examples.

Roller Shades, Zebra Shades, and Shangri-La Shades

• Scenario 1: There is no motor at the junction (This layout typically minimizes the gap, creating a smoother transition between the shades and a more visually cohesive look.)

• Scenario 2: One end of the junction has a motor, while the other end does not.

• Scenario 3: Both ends of the junction have motors.

Cellular Shades

• The motor direction of the cellular shades does not affect the gap size.

   

Dual Shades

Customizing the gap can involve removing the end caps at the mitered joints, making the gap smaller.

• Scenario 1: No Motor at the Junction (In this layout, the standard gap is already the smallest possible, and no further gap customization is needed.)

• Scenario 2: One Side of the Junction Has a Motor, the Other Side Does Not

• Scenario 3: Both Sides of the Junction Have Motors

2. Select Products and Place Your Order
   Choose the type of shades that suit your needs on our website. For example, if you need two shades for a single window, create two separate orders. In each order, include a note that says "Special customization needed to reduce the gap between shades." This way, we will adjust the gaps according to your requirements.
