Bracket Mounting
The same standard bracket is used for both inside mount and outside mount. Depending on your installation surface, you can choose either fastening method:
Special Installation — Side Mount
This installation method is only available for shades under 80" wide.
Side mount is used when the shade cannot be secured from the top or rear surface. This is most common for arched windows or similar openings without a suitable top or back mounting surface.
With side mount installation, the brackets attach to the left and right side surfaces of the window opening, supporting the shade from both ends.
Note: For side mount installation, please indicate “Side Mount” in the order notes. We will include the correct brackets and adjust the measurements to ensure proper fit within the frame.
