This guide covers the following shade types: Roller Shades, Zebra Shades, Cordless Roman Shades, Woven Wood Shades, Shangri-La Shades, Outdoor Shades, and Dual Shades.
1. Shangri-La Sheer shades and Zebra shades come with a factory-preset preferred position.
2. Other types of shades do not have a factory-preset preferred position. To set your own preferred position, please follow the setup guide below.

Preferred Position for Shangri-La Sheer Shades
Shade at the Lower Limit – Shade fully lowered, vanes open
(Activated by briefly pressing “DOWN” and releasing)
Shade at the Preferred Position – Shade fully lowered, vanes closed
(Activated by pressing “STOP” while the shade is at rest; this is the factory-preset preferred position)
Preferred Position for Zebra Shades
Shade at the Lower Limit – Closed
(Activated by briefly pressing “DOWN” and releasing)
Shade at the Preferred Position – Shade fully lowered, sheer bands aligned for light filtering (open)
(Activated by pressing “STOP” while the shade is at rest; this is the factory-preset preferred position)
How to Set or Delete a Preferred Position
Set Preferred Position
Step 1: Use the remote to move your shade to your desired Preferred Position.
Step 2: PRESS AND HOLD the STOP button on the remote for 2 seconds. When the shade jogs once, release the button. The indicator light turns green and flashes 5 times. This means your Preferred Position has been successfully set.
Function Use:
Once the Preferred Position is set, PRESS AND RELEASE the STOP button while the shade is stationary, and it will automatically move to the preset position.
Delete Preferred Position
Step 1: PRESS AND RELEASE the STOP button on the remote to move the shade to its current Preferred Position.
Step 2: PRESS AND HOLD the STOP button on the remote for 2 seconds. When the shade jogs once, release the button. The indicator light turns green and flashes 5 times. This means your Preferred Position has been successfully set.
