When selecting roller shades, you need to decide on the best "Roll Type" based on your desired appearance, light control needs, and any potential window obstacles.
1. Standard Roll
- The fabric rolls closest to the window, minimizing gaps between the shade and the window frame.
- This design helps reduce light leakage from the sides, providing better light control.
- Ideal for rooms where maximum privacy and light-blocking are important.

2. Reverse Roll
- The fabric rolls away from the window, creating extra clearance between the shade and the window frame.
- Best suited for windows with obstacles, such as window handles, cranks, or decorative moldings.
- When choosing Reverse Roll, the fabric sits approximately 2 inches away from the mounting brackets.

- If additional clearance is needed, you can purchase Extension Brackets from the Accessories section. These brackets extend the fabric-to-bracket distance up to 4 inches (available for Outside Mount only).

By selecting the appropriate roll type, you can ensure a perfect fit for your space while maintaining both functionality and aesthetics.
