Yes, even if your window frame depth is less than 2.5 inches, an inside mount may still be possible. However, suitability depends on your frame depth relative to the bracket’s mounting hole positions.
1. If the Depth Allows for Both Mounting Holes:
If your window depth extends beyond Mounting Hole 2 on the bracket:
-
Each bracket can be securely fastened using both mounting holes (two screws).
-
This provides a stable and secure installation.
-
The shades may slightly protrude from the window frame, but this does not affect stability or function.
2. If the Depth Only Allows for One Mounting Hole:
If your window depth is less than the distance to Mounting Hole 2 but can accommodate Mounting Hole 1:
-
Each bracket can only be secured using one screw through Mounting Hole 1.
-
To ensure sufficient support, we recommend installing additional brackets across the width of the shades.
(You may include a note in your order stating that extra brackets are needed due to limited frame depth.)
Important Note:
The shallower the window frame, the more the shades will extend beyond the frame, even with an inside mount. While this does not affect functionality, it may impact appearance.
Before placing your order, we recommend reviewing the Detailed Installation Size Specifications to confirm the bracket's mounting hole spacing and minimum required mounting depth.
