This guide covers the following shade types: Drapery.
1. Each SmartWave drapery from the original manufacturer comes pre-programmed. This includes a remote already paired with the drapery, preset open and close limits, and ready-to-use operation once the remote or wireless wall switch is powered on.
2. Each motor can be paired with up to 12 channels.

- Please note that if your remote control or wireless wall switch is a 2-channel device,
Channel 1 corresponds to the programming button labeled “P1.”
Channel 2 corresponds to the programming button labeled “P2.”
- If it is a 6-channel or 15-channel device, select the desired channel first. The P button will then function as the programming button for the selected channel.
Method 1: Using the Program Button on the Motor
Step 1: PRESS AND HOLD the motor’s Programming button for about 2 seconds.
he indicator light will turn green, then change to orange and begin flashing.
Step 2: Select the remote or channel you want to add.
BRIEFLY PRESS AND RELEASE the P button on the back of the remote. Note: Do not hold the button.
(For wireless wall switches, use a paperclip or similar item.)
The indicator light will flash green three times and then turn off, confirming successful pairing.
Method 2: Remote-to-Remote Pairing
Step 1: Select the remote or channel that is paired with the shade.
PRESS AND HOLD the P button on the back of the remote for about 2 seconds. (For wireless wall switches, use a paperclip or similar item.)
The indicator light will flash green three times, then switch to orange and continue flashing.
Step 2: Select the remote or channel you want to add.
BRIEFLY PRESS AND RELEASE the P button on the back of the remote. Note: Do not hold the button.
The indicator light will flash green three times and then turn off, confirming successful pairing.
