Reset and Re-Pair Remotes or Channels for Drapery – SmartWave Shades

📘 Note:
SmartWave drapery come pre-paired with a remote or wireless wall switch from the factory. If you’re not satisfied with the original pairing setup, you can re-pair them using the methods below.

Step 1: Delete All Remotes and Channels at Once

PRESS AND HOLD the motor’s Programming button for about 7 seconds.
The indicator light will first turn green, then flash slowly three times, followed by three quick flashes. The indicator light will then continue flashing orange. This means that all remotes and channels have been deleted.

⚠️ Careful Operation: Release the button immediately when the indicator light flashes quickly three times. If the button is not released in time and the orange light remains solid, the motor has been reset. You will need to complete the Initial Setup before the drapery can operate normally.

Step 2: Re-Pair a Remote or Channel

While the orange indicator light is flashing, select the remote or channel you want to add. （For example, if you’re using a 15-channel remote and want to pair the drapery to channel 6, switch the remote to channel 6.）
Then BRIEFLY PRESS AND RELEASE the P button on the back of the remote. Note: Do not hold the button.
The indicator light will flash green three times and then turn off, confirming the new pairing.
